New Fiction
I am currently working on various fiction projects, mainly what may one day be a novel and tentatively titled The Legacy of an Ordinary Man.
It is the story of, as the title suggests, a very ordinary Japanese `salaryman` who is lead to commit an extreme act of violence through a relationship with a young (very!) woman he should never have become involved with.
The excerpts below are taken from the first draft of the manuscript, please keep in mind that they are real first draft pieces which are not heavily edited or polished, I am experimenting with different styles and voices. In addition they may not make much sense in terms of a story line as they are brief parts of a much larger story.
