As terrorists strike again in the name of ‘God’ let’s ask the question;
“Who created us?”
According to monotheists (Christians, Muslims etc.) we were created by God. This seems to be the perfect argument against terrorism.
Killing a fellow human means killing God’s creation (of course we could include animals or any other living being for that matter but let’s stick to humans for this argument).
How can someone claim to love God if they destroy His creation, and perhaps His most precious creation as only a person can love God or follow His prophets? It seems to be the greatest insult to the Creator.
Some might argue that those killed by terrorism had insulted God or His prophets, persecuted those who follow Him, or were just plain evil and that they deserved to die. But if that is the case then come Judgement Day (which monotheists also believe in) those sinners will be judged by God Himself and receive their punishment.
Or are the terrorists, by their actions, saying that they know better and that they can judge in place of God? Because that sounds like blasphemy, which is a sin. (And so is killing.)
